Sautée medieval sweetness | sachet for 2 bottles of sage wine

Saugée, a delicacy from the Middle Ages to be savored in moderation! Forgotten flavors of sage, citrus, sweet, subtle, refined flavors, which contrast with the idea that we have today of the Middle Ages. We have been producing this blend since 2006, and we have observed that it is very popular with the ladies.... PREPARATION 5 MIN – MACERATION 12/24 HOURS One bag allows the preparation of 2 bottles of 75 cl of sage. Saugée is traditionally prepared with a fairly sweet white wine, but is also delicious with a rosé wine. In a container with a lid (a salad bowl with a plate on top, for example) 1. Pour the whole sachet with 2 bottles of WHITE or ROSE wine. 2. Add: 1 sliced unwaxed lemon [if choosing a white wine] Where 1 sliced untreated orange [if choosing a rosé wine] 3. Cover and leave to macerate for approximately 48 hours. 4. Filter with a colander. 5. Sweeten with approx. 50 g of brown sugar per LITRE, i.e. around 80 g for 1.5 litres. > Rebottling > Stick the 2 labels Storage: The sage improves over the weeks and months. Store your bottles in the fridge. Best consumed within 3 to 6 months. Ingredients: sage, ginger, sweet orange peel, clove. Presentation: Sachet accompanied by a recipe booklet. Net weight 40g
