Upcycling wall art moose made from flip flops

A great statement... ...this colorful elk head will be on every wall, whether in the living room, in the office or in the lounge. And the great thing is, it's made from 100% recycled flip-flops. The Kenyan organization OceanSole collects the sandals that have washed up on the coasts of Africa and has local artists use them to create colorful design objects, which at the same time avoid masses of rubber waste. In addition, the people employed at OceanSole from Nairobi and various Kenyan areas have fair and long-term professional prospects. The wall decoration consists of colorful, processed sandal rubber. Even antlers, ears and eyes were made from the material! The moose head measures approx. 50 x 70 x 80 cm and weighs around 1.3 kg. It was made from 150 flip flops. Each product is handmade and therefore unique. The appearance and nature of the material can therefore vary slightly.
