Built in 1926-28 by Albert Laprade for Doctor Heitz-Boyer, the Villa Magdalena (or Kermadalen) is inspired by the harmony of volumes of Arab houses and palaces. Its contrasting volumes, its roof terraces with railings, its liner silhouette, its jutting prismatic windows and its asymmetry unites it to the Modernist movement.
