Château Les Hauts de Foncaude – Bordeaux Rosé - CHR

Origins: Château Des Hauts de Foncaude belongs to a young couple, Sandra and Roch Mayé, young farmers aged 33 and 35 who live in Saint Félix de Foncaude. They are at the head of a 100 ha farm, including 38 ha of vines and 40 suckler cattle from Bazadais. Installed for fifteen years in SCEA (Civil Agricultural Exploitation Company), the couple made the choice to replace their dairy cows by beef cows, because of the less constraining nature and therefore more compatible with the culture of the vine. The area under vines has also doubled in a few years. Their vineyard flourishes in the heart of a clayey-sandy loamy soil which gives the wine all its elegance. Roch and Sandra took over the reins of the family estate in the early 2000s and strive to produce a quality wine that reflects its terroir. Grapes: Majority of Cabernet Franc, Merlot Vinification: Our technicians support the winegrowers on the estate on a daily basis in order to produce the ideal grapes for the production of Château Des Hauts de Foncaude. The grape varieties are carefully blended by our oenologists and then vinified in the traditional way. Tasting: The Château Des Haut de Foncaude in Bordeaux Rosé turns out to be a lively wine with a pale color. Fresh and light on the nose, it is aromas of gooseberry and mara des bois that will first awaken your taste buds.
