Château Les Hauts de Foncaude – Bordeaux red - CHR

Burgundy Red Origins: Château Des Hauts de Foncaude belongs to a couple, Sandra and Roch Mayé who live in Saint Félix de Foncaude. They are at the head of a 100 ha farm, including 38 ha of vines and 40 suckler cattle from Bazadais. Installed for fifteen years in SCEA (Civil Agricultural Exploitation Company), the couple made the choice to replace their dairy cows by beef cows, because of the less constraining nature and therefore more compatible with the culture of the vine. The area under vines has also doubled in a few years. Their vineyard flourishes in the heart of a clayey-sandy loamy soil which gives the wine all its elegance. Grapes: 100% Merlot Vinification: The grape varieties that make up Château de Foncaude are vinified in the traditional way and blended with the greatest care. Tasting: Château des Hauts de Foncaude is a powerful and concentrated wine. This wine reveals intense aromas of red fruits and spicy notes.
