Natural Yellow Bourbon Coffee

NATURAL YELLOW BOURBON COFFEE Variety: Bourbon Altitude: 1650 Method: Natural Region: Risaralda, Colombia Producer: Flor de Apia Notes: Tropical fruits, chocolate, honey. Natural processing is considered one of the oldest and traditional methods of coffee processing. In this method, coffee cherries are harvested when ripe and dried whole, with their pulp, in the sun for several weeks. During this process, the cherries are turned regularly to ensure even drying.

The result is a coffee with a more pronounced, fruity flavor profile. The drying process with the pulp gives the coffee notes of ripe fruit, berries and sugar.   Natural coffee is often associated with lower acidity and a fuller texture on the palate.

The production of this coffee takes place at the "Flor de Apia" farm, a coffee plantation located at an altitude of 1650 meters in the Risaralda region, Colombia. These coffees are produced without the use of child labor, they come from balanced ecosystems and contribute to the economic and social development of the region.
