The history of our factory begins, like many others, thanks to the love we already had for craft beer. One day, like any other, we found ourselves talking about the possibility of creating our own company and, little by little, what is now Craft Beers of Albacete, CERVEZAS 69, spun off.
It all started a little before 2012. After studying in detail how we should start this process, we spent several months working in some factories in Europe to learn and understand what the professional production of this wonderful concoction entails. Finally, after the learning received, this small company was born from the hand of its main promoter, Manuel Alcántara, passionate about malts and hops. Manuel was born in the hectic year of 1969, hence the significant number of our brand.
Everything starts slowly and overcoming obstacles along the way. But until now, the passion and enjoyment that we find in making this product has made us continue trying to improve every day and offer different beers with the highest possible quality. In this way, in 2017 and 2018 our Irish-style beer, RED ALE, was awarded a gold medal at the BBF.
In 2018, David García, who had been brewing his own beer at home since 2006, joined the team. Thus, he began to work in order to professionally learn everything necessary until he became consolidated as a "Brew Master". ”. Today it is in charge of the production in an integral way. For us, brewing craft beer is a lifestyle that brings enthusiasm, entrepreneurship, constant learning, effort, and the satisfaction of seeing recognition in each customer who consumes our products.
We understand this business as something collaborative in a friendly environment, of creativity, of friends, of sharing and having good times, even now, with the great drama that the pandemic has caused and supposes. We have had very difficult periods in which the question of having to abandon ship has been raised, but we decided to fight and not give up because we believe in our product and we reaffirm our passion.
