Old Carignan vines, 6-month aging in vats, blending and bottling, Vin de France. The quintessence of old Carignans (1920), Bright ruby color with purple reflections on the disc. Delicate nose with notes of cherry jam, a hint of aromatic herbs (bay leaf). The entry in the mouth is fresh with an ascending dynamic, mid-palate balanced with powdery tannins, a light coating fatness... energetic and fresh finish with a sensation of peppery notes... exceptional.
