Compagnie des Indes - Canon Boulet Single Cask Rum n°13

For its thirteenth edition, our Boulet de canon is the result of aging our classic blend of Boulet de Canon (Nicaragua and Panama) for 8 months in peated whiskey barrels then smoked in hay with a maceration of 48 hours. TASTING NOTES Nose: Very pronounced on ash, caramel, grilled meat, notes of incandescent tobacco Taste: First very smoky, very opulent, then more peaty and balanced and delicious. We also find vegetal notes of oregano, thyme, rosemary, strong flavors of dried straw and toasted malt. Finish: Long ashy and delicious. She evokes a campfire on which a nice piece of meat would have been grilled.
