Cachaça Sete Engenhos Balsamo | Aged for 2 years in balsamic wood barrels | 700 ml 42% vol

The history of Sete engenhos cachaça from Engenho São Miguel, where it is produced, is intertwined with the history of Brazil. It combines four hundred years of experience in sugar cane cultivation with sustainable production. 450 years ago, the ancestors of the founder of Engenho São Miguel, Haroldo Carneiro, participated in the founding of the city of Rio de Janeiro together with Estácio de Sá. Soon after, they began producing sugar cane, cachaça and sugar on the Ilha dos Sete Engenhos, today's Ilha do Governador. Sete Engenhos Cachaça is a masterpiece of Brazilian distillation. It is made from fresh sugar cane juice. It is distilled in a copper still, with the foreshots and tails of the distillation being discarded. Only the heart of the distillation is used. It is then aged in balsam for 2 years, which gives it a unique and aromatic taste. The bottle with its green label and the image of the sugar cane mill where it is produced in the background is an eye-catcher and invites you to enjoy this drop of sunshine. Whether enjoyed neat, on the rocks or as an ingredient in refreshing cocktails, this cachaça is a must for connoisseurs and beginners alike. Let yourself be enchanted by the authentic flavors of Brazil.
