The Amburara distillery embodies the true meaning of self-sufficiency. Located in the historic town of Inconfidentes, the Amburana distillery began producing cachacas due to the coffee crisis. The old farmhouse was converted to house the production of one of the most special cachacas in the country. All cachacas are produced on the farm from sowing to bottling.. The Amburana Castanheira is made from sugar cane grown on the farm. It goes through a "Caipira fermentation process", also with corn planted on the property, and undergoes an indirect fire distillation. It rests in stainless steel barrels for at least 1 year. It is then aged for 18 months in Castanheira wooden barrels. It has an intense taste, with balanced acidity and spicy notes. Crystal clear color and fruity aroma.
