Cachaça Vanderley Azevedo Grápia | Matured for 3 years in Grapia wooden barrels | 700ml 40% vol

The story of Vanderley Azevedo Artisanal Cachaça began in 1940 when Sérgio José de Araújo (Vanderley's grandfather) came to the town of Ituiutaba, Minas Gerais in search of diamonds. He later gave up diamond mining and set up a warehouse to sell food and drink to the diamond mine workers and townspeople. In 1968, his grandson Vanderley Azevedo began working with him in the warehouse, where he was responsible for bottling the cachaça. In 1984, Vanderley Azevedo bought a farm to produce his own cachaça. The Cachaça Vandeley Azevedo has a 35-year tradition. Even though he didn't find any diamonds, Sérgio would be proud of the rarity his grandson created. A cachaca of unique quality with a great complexity of aromas and flavors.Ironically, it is now more sought after in the region than diamonds. Vanderley Azevendo Grapia matures for 3 years in barrels made of Grapia, a tree native to Brazil. It has notes of tropical fruits, with subtle sweetness, soft taste and balanced alcohol content.
