Graphic exploration notebook

How many ways are there to say “hello”? An infinity, probably. And probably as many ways to write it. In UPPERCASE, and with an exclamation point! Or a question mark? Or maybe both?! Very small in the middle of a blank page; or with large colorful dancing letters; maybe with a simple shape or image. Based on examples drawn from modern and contemporary graphic design (Otl Aicher, Aurélien Débat, Warja Lavater, Richard Niessen, Sandrine Nugue, etc.), this notebook provides tools for learning to identify and manipulate the signs that surround us. on a daily basis: a stop sign, the typeface of a fashion magazine, the coat of arms of a city, the poster of a dance festival or even a logotype on the bonnet of a car. This Graphic Exploration Notebook offers a series of experiments with no right or wrong answers, to be done alone or with others, whether young or old; a collection of games and tools to learn intuitively, grouped into five chapters: typography, images, signs, identity and layout.
