Pierre Faucheux (1924-1999) was one of the major figures in the French edition in the aftermath of the Second World War. Widely renewing this field of graphic design, it crossed the second half of the XXth century by leaving multiple imprints there which are as many experiments revisiting the avant-garde or being part of the artistic currents of its time. In the margins of his workshop, he developed a visual work consisting of collages and photographic "splitting". Finally, he also devoted his career to architecture, by associating with the projects of various architects or by developing museum layouts and exhibition scenographies.
