CHISTORRA - "SAUCISSE" - "SAUSAGE" FROM NAVARRA

The chistorra is without a doubt, one of the Navarrese gastronomic icons par excellence. Appreciated for its pleasant flavour and aroma, it is made with pork, DO paprika, salt and garlic, without any artificial colouring or preservatives.       Grilled or fried, it is ideal to enjoy as an aperitif. It is the star product of Embutidos Hortanco, proof of this are the recognitions achieved in 2010, 2016 and 2018 with the Third Prize and in 2012 and 2014 with the FIRST prize of the Navarro de Chistorra Contest. In September 2024, it received the BEST OF award in the "Terre et Mer" category, a competition organised by the Gourmet Selection trade fair in Paris.  It has the "Reyno Gourmet" and "Artisan Foods of Navarra" seals.
