Las Navajas are located on sandy bottoms inside the estuaries. They are shelled in very shallow water and washed to remove any remaining sand. Once they are chipped, they are canned and the covering liquid (water and salt) is added. The razor clams have a mild flavor and their meat is consistent, firm and juicy.
