The razor clams (Tagelus dombeii) come from the Chilean coast and are extracted manually during low tide. Once shelled, they are canned and the covering liquid (water and salt) is added. They are recommended for preparing soups and empanadas. The processing, handling and obtaining of the final product are carried out in compliance with current hygiene and health standards throughout the process, as well as good handling practices. A system of self-control and monitoring of critical points (HACCP) is carried out throughout the process.
