The organic salted capers of I Frutti del Sole are born in Sicily. Thanks to the warm and windy climate, capers grow spontaneously in Sicily and stand out because they have a more substantial bud, intense green in color and very aromatic. The salt used for their natural preservation is coarse and whole salt, extracted from the Ettore Infersa salt pans in Marsala (Trapani).
