Salted Capers F/12*120

They are the unblossomed flowers of a spontaneous shrub which has found its ideal habitat on the island of Pantelleria thanks to the volcanic rocks, the cracks in the walls and terraces well exposed to the sun which vigorously produces a quality product. 

Once harvested, the capers are divided according to size and salted with sea salt. Only after being salted do the buds release all their typically sour and spicy aroma. Salted capers are an essential ingredient in Pantelleria and international cuisine. 

Ideal for salads, cold dishes such as veal with tuna sauce, or hot dishes such as puttanesca sauce. 

Before consuming the product, desalinate it with water and squeeze it. Once done, you can store it in oil ready to be consumed.
