Marcos' journey began in 1963 when his family bought their first hectare in Santa Vargem. After graduating in agronomy in 1984, he gradually expanded the family business at Fazenda São José in Perdões, Sul de Minas. He now farms 320 hectares, of which 225 are dedicated to coffee. Marcos bets on sustainable growth, using organic fertilizers and solar energy, and controls the entire production chain, from planting to processing. For this natural lot, the beans are dried inside the cherry. Once dry, they are pulped and dried again until they reach an optimal moisture level.
