Tropea PGI red onion jam 90gr

The red onion of Tropea is the name given to the red onion grown between Nicotera, in the province of Vibo Valentia, and Campora San Giovanni, in the municipality of Amantea, in the province of Cosenza, and along the Tyrrhenian coast. 

Our red onion is one of the best known and appreciated vegetables in the world. 

In the local gastronomy, onion jams and sweet and sour onions are famous and are used in appetizers, on bruschetta and in the case of jams, their use on cheeses or cooked meats is known.  Our jam involves the exclusive use of Tropea PGI red onion with the addition of sugar, sultanas and wine vinegar. 

So no ingredients that are not completely natural. 

Our recipe is an exclusive one that derives from the self-production of this preserve which still occurs in Calabria and especially on the Tyrrhenian coast of Cosenza. Ingredients: Red Onion of Topea PGI (contains sulphites) 85%, sugar, sultanas, wine vinegar
