Chef's tips: these 10 fruity locusts can be eaten as they are as appetizers like other crickets and mealworms, but can just as well be used for dessert as a garnish on cakes or cream puffs (and Yule log!). Ingredients & composition: 50g of locusts plain or with raspberry coating with roasted almond chips or mango, (the legs have been removed for more safety). About 70 to 100 locusts. Ingredients: Dehydrated migratory locusts (locusta migratoria), + [raspberry puree (90% raspberry puree, 10% sugar), roasted almonds, agar-agar] or [mango, agar-agar]. Allergens: Insects being part of the arthropod family, they can present allergens crossed with crustaceans, mites and spiders. Our farm does not produce migratory locusts, we cook locusts raised by a farmer from Western Europe.
