My name is Elodie, born in Ambérieu in Bugey in the Rhône-Alpes region.
I am the manager, creator and soap maker of this small business.
It is with passion and love that I wanted to create the shack.
Passionate about nature from mother to daughter, or even a seamstress for 3 generations, I absolutely wanted to share with you my passions and my commitments through this small company.
It is in my attic that a laboratory (soap factory) was born to standards, located in St Maurice de Rémens (01), the childhood village of Antoine de St Exupéry.
I have selected for you natural raw materials, local as much as possible, and of course organic and ethical. Concerned about our environment, my packaging is made of eco-responsible, recycled, PEFC® certified and biodegradable materials.
Your parcels are delivered on foot as much as possible (yes, the village post office does not always allow me to do this).
My soaps are made using the ancestral method of cold saponification. Method where a fatty substance (vegetable oils and butters) with caustic soda is transformed to create the finished "soap" product, rich in natural glycerin, produces no waste and a very low carbon footprint.
