Camargue white rice is a variety of rice grown in the Camargue region of France. Unlike the Camargue brown rice mentioned previously, this rice is refined to remove its outer covering, its bran and its germ. This gives the rice a white color and a more tender texture. Camargue white rice is versatile and can be used in many dishes, such as risottos, sushi, desserts or simply as an accompaniment to meats and vegetables. However, it contains less fiber, vitamins and minerals than whole grain Camargue rice.
