Camargue brown rice is a type of rice from the Camargue region in France. It is characterized by its complete grain, that is to say it retains its outer shell, its bran and its germ. Unlike white rice, which has been processed to remove these parts, Camargue brown rice is more nutritious because it contains more fiber, vitamins and minerals. It has a slightly stronger flavor and firmer texture than traditional white rice. It is often used in rice pilaf dishes, in salads or as an accompaniment to various dishes.
