Elegances - Crozes Hermitage 2021 - Red Wine

APPELLATION AOP Crozes - Hermitage. LOCATION This appellation is cultivated in 11 communes of the Drôme, left bank of the Rhône, at the 45th parallel. Our grapes come from the south-eastern part of the appellation. VINEYARD AND TERROIR The Syrah vines are planted on stony soils on the large Crozes-Hermitage plateaus, which are quite dry and swept by the mistral wind. GRAPE VARIETIES Syrah (100%). PRODUCTION The grapes are 100% destemmed and placed in thermo-regulated stainless steel vats to macerate for around 17 days with only pumping over. The wine is aged in vats until it is bottled 1 year later. TASTING A wine with floral aromas that mingle with notes of small red fruits. Very expressive on the nose, it is fresh and elegant on the palate. SERVICE AND PAIRINGS 16°C, a little cooler than the southern vintages.
 On varied daily dishes, a nice piece of grilled meat.
