Classic - Côtes du Rhône Red 2022 - Red Wine

APPELLATION AOC Côtes du Rhône Rouge LOCATION This wine comes from a selection of vineyards from the entire southern region of the Rhône Valley, which extends from Montélimar to Nîmes. VINEYARD AND TERROIR The Grenache and Syrah vines are planted on clay-limestone plains and cultivated to obtain a yield of around 50 hl/ha. GRAPE VARIETIES Grenache noir, Syrah. ÉLABORATION The grapes are 100% destemmed and placed in thermo-regulated stainless steel vats to macerate for around 15 days with only pumping over, after a cold pre-fermentation maceration. The wine is aged in vats until it is bottled 1 year later. TASTING A lovely expression of blackcurrant and crushed raspberry on the nose, and a fresh and fruity palate. SERVICE AND PAIRINGS 16°C, a little cooler than the vintages. On varied daily dishes and grilled meats.
