Certified organic brown mustard seeds (Brassica Juncea), grown by our farming partners located in the departments of Ariège and Aude (Occitanie). Brown mustard has a slightly bitter and pungent flavor with a peppery note. It also gives off a rounder and smoother scent than blond mustard. The seeds can be used to flavor certain dishes, marinades, sauerkrauts, stews, sauces, curries, preserves and vinegar-based preparations (pickles). Also excellent as sprouted seeds.
