About us and the mission of MALIKMINT
Actually, our mission can be summed up quite simply: with MALIKMINT we want to give you a conscious time-out to stimulate thought and bring about change in this world. Out of respect for yourself, the natural ingredients and the people and projects we help with them.
Founder Saddia took a break as a management consultant and toured South (East) Asia for 8 months - to get to know new cultures, break down barriers, put fears into perspective, discover new delicacies - just try something new. Pure refreshment!
Arrived in Pakistan, she encountered the exotic taste of lime in combination with mint, which made her pause and evoked a vision in her: to establish the refreshing mix in the western world, to remember it and to donate a part of the sales to various aid projects support.
The name "Malik" is always program - it comes from Pakistani and means "king"! So it's no wonder that the refreshing recipe tastes good and the founder dared to try the supreme discipline of lemonades ;-).
A piece of serenity from Pakistan in the western hustle and bustle
Pakistan is a country of contrasts. From the majestic mountains in the north, where the Hindu Kush, the Karakorum and the Himalayas meet, to the Indus plain and the deserts in the east - the country has a lot to offer.
In the cities and on the streets of Pakistan there is a colourful, loud and seemingly chaotic hustle and bustle. Nevertheless, the people there always find conscious moments of reflection in which they come to rest.
