The Brass Pétillant Natural embodies a very special style that brings the full aroma of the Riesling grapes to the palate. Unsulphured, naturally cloudy and sparkling are the three elementary properties of this organic semi-sparkling wine. What is a Pet Nat? Pét Nat is short for Pétillant Naturel. That means "naturally sparkling" in French and refers to sparkling wines whose Mosseaux are the result of a special type of bottle fermentation. The special thing about this semi-sparkling wine is that it is (mostly) naturally cloudy. There is no second fermentation in the bottle during production, but the grape must that has not yet fully fermented is already bottled, where it ferments and forms carbon dioxide. Most of the time, the dregs are not removed, leaving the dregs in the bottle.
