Wild cocoa nibs organic

If you are familiar with raw cocoa beans, you will notice some differences between them and our wild cocoa beans. Our wild cocoa beans are smaller than cultivated cocoa beans. The cocoa bean varieties that are grown on plantations are usually grown particularly large and productive. Not so with the wild cocoa beans, which stay smaller and bring less yield. In turn, they are more resistant to disease and bedbugs. Another special feature of the wild cocoa bean is its natural fructose content. While cultivated cocoa beans usually do not contain any fructose, wild cocoa beans have a fructose content of up to 5%. Therefore they taste sweeter, less bitter and almost a little fruity!
