Medjool organic dates

The Medjool date is also known as the "Queen of Dates". The fruity, fleshy date probably owes its nickname to its size. It is one of the best-known among the countless date varieties, and thanks to its fruity-fine sweetness also one of the most popular. Our Medjool organic dates come from the Jordan Valley, which is 300m below sea level. However, this date variety originally comes from the fertile valleys in southern Morocco. Today it can be found almost everywhere on the Arabian Peninsula. The Medjool is wonderfully suitable as a small, nutritious snack between meals or as a sweet with tea and coffee. Since the fruit is so big, you can also fill it wonderfully - for example with whole nuts, nut butter, cocoa beans or orange peel. Hearty dishes can also be perfectly refined with this date. For example, we like to cut the Medjool date into a fresh raw vegetable salad!
