Darboussier Old Rum 6 years 45° 70cl

The Darboussier sugar factory was created between 1867 and 1869 in the commune of Pointe-à-Pitre. Its name comes from its location where the home of a French merchant, Jean Darboussier, was located. After its closure in the 1980s, the brand was resurrected by Liquoristerie Madras for the breeding of traditional old rums. Tasting notes: Nose: frank, intense and gourmet, the salted butter caramel balances harmoniously with the woody and vanilla notes. Palate: a taste bouquet of exceptional sweetness and length which presents a rich and powerful texture, combining vanilla, bitter almond and salted butter caramel.
