It all started with an awareness, during a trip to Indonesia: In Bali as in Guéthary, if the waves are magnificent, the oceans are saturated with plastics. And surfing also contributes to this pollution. It was in the face of this observation that Raphaël set out to develop a sunscreen, essential protection for all surfers, efficient, practical, and above all plastic-free for a near-zero impact on the ocean.

For 5 years, on the Basque Coast in Guéthary, we set out to create organic sun protection, water resistant, made up of ingredients of natural origin, pleasant to wear, and having the least impact on the environment, from formulation to production to packaging.

This is how Sunda was born, the eco-friendly solar stick, without nanoparticles or plastics, made in France, for all lovers of the sun and the environment.

Since 2022, after many failures, reformulations, and small victories, Sunda Cosmétique is proud to offer sticks and organic solid sunscreens with a unique formulation, Ecocert© certified and manufactured in the South West.
