SAGAVIN Kalecik Karasi 2023

Sagavin Kalecik Karasi is made from Kalecik Karasi grapes from the Nevsehir region. It is a single vineyard wine. This 1000 meter high vineyard has a white volcanic soil structure. With a medium body, it is a lively and fresh wine with a pronounced and balanced acidity and aromas of red fruits such as cherries. The palpable minerality is in harmony with the volcanic soil of the region. Light ruby red colour with purple highlights. Sweet fruit notes such as cotton candy are noticeable on the nose. The label, featuring the motif of an owl rising from the ashes, represents the rescue of the vineyard by Sagavin winery after the decision to dismantle it. Pairs well with savoury starters and pastries. Serving at 13-15 degrees is recommended.
