Upcycling animal figure hippopotamus M made of flip-flops

A bit of wilderness... …brings this colorful hippopotamus figurine into your living room. It's made entirely out of recycled flip-flops. The organization OceanSole collects the sandals washed up on the coasts of Africa and has local artists make colorful figures from them. Thanks to the handmade figures, 400,000 flip-flops of rubber waste are avoided every year. At the same time, the people from Nairobi and various Kenyan slums who work at OceanSole have fair career prospects. The hippopotamus is made from colorful recycled sandal gum. Even the tail, ears and eyes are made from the upcycled material. Each product is handmade and therefore unique. The appearance and nature of the material can therefore vary slightly.
