Upcycling wall art rhino made from flip flops

A real African rhino... ...in your own 4 walls! Any safari lover would be jealous! The great thing is that it is made from 100% recycled flip-flops. The Kenyan organization OceanSole collects the sandals that have washed up on the coasts of Africa and has local artists use them to create colorful design objects, which at the same time avoid masses of rubber waste. In addition, the people employed at OceanSole from Nairobi and various Kenyan areas have fair and long-term career prospects. The wall decoration consists of colorful, processed sandal rubber and was made from a whopping 30 flip-flops. The length is 30 cm, the diameter is 20 cm. Each product is handmade and therefore unique. The appearance and nature of the material can therefore vary slightly.
