Paradisius

We have integrated this mystical and sublime fruit in a noble vinegar that has matured in old wooden barrels. The name pomegranate dates back to antiquity. In ancient Rome it was called the "Punic apple". Aphrodite is already depicted with a pomegranate. As early as the Old Testament (the Pentateuch), the pomegranate is named as the fruit that Moses brought with him from the desert when he was searching for the promised land. The pomegranate is said to have 613 seeds; as many seeds as there are laws in the Old Testament. In the Song of Solomon, the word pomegranate is used to describe the beauty of woman. In Greek mythology, the underworld god Hades steals Persephone, daughter of Demeter. Father of the gods Zeus wanted Persephone to return to her mother, but this was only possible if she did not eat anything in the underworld. Hades, however, pushed 6 pomegranate seeds into her mouth. Thus Persephone had to rule in the underworld alongside Hades for a third of each year. It was a pomegranate that the Trojan Paris gave to the beautiful Helena, triggering a long war. Pomegranates were considered food for the journey in ancient Egypt and were given to the dead as grave goods in the time of Ramses IV on the way between the ages. Because of its numerous seeds, the pomegranate was considered a symbol of fertility. Pomegranate is rich in potassium, calcium and iron and is rich in vitamin C. We have combined this mystical and sublime fruit with a noble vinegar that has matured in old wooden barrels. The fragrant and extremely loving combination is explained as a fine aperitif for dishes that tremble the palate and delight the tongue.
