THE ORIGINS - Birra Gaia was born in Lissone in 2014 thanks to a small plant and only 3 people to cover all management and production roles. The push was immediately strong enough to bring us, in 2017, to the current headquarters in Carate Brianza, where we expanded our production capacity with a 10 hl cooked plant and an annexed BrewPub in order to allow a tasting of our products at km 0 with the possibility of closely observing and touching the ingredients, the production and the technique that are hidden behind each pint.
AN EXPANDING PROJECT - New enterprising partners, a new master brewer with great experience and creativity, the search for unique creations and numerous Italian and international awards and prizes, keep alive our will of Birra Gaia to continue the expansion project, without NEVER compromise the quality of handcrafted products.
With the increase in the number and capacity of the tanks and the addition of a new canning machine to the family, the workforce has now risen to 5 people for the brewery alone, in addition to the already large BrewPub staff.
WHY GAIA - The ancient Greek goddess of the same name, Mother of the Gods and generator of the earth itself perfectly embodies our commitment and our bond with the territory (both local and Italian), as well as our constant attention to sustainability in resource management water, energy and raw materials. Each of our references is united by the balance between relevance to the reference style and the enjoyment of the drink, a combination that allows a sliding but precise approach without falling into forced exuberance or invisible subtleties.
