BS RANGE

With their 100% organic beers and 100% French barley baptized with water from the Alps, the Savoyard Brewers are the real brewing magicians of Haute Savoie. Thanks to their irreproachable organic sourcing which touches the terroir, and their uninterrupted virtuous chain throughout production, they have re-enchanted craft beers and organic beers, quite naturally.

For their supply, they go through the Malterie du Château in Belgium. But all the malts used in making their organic beers are produced and grown in France. As for the hops that go into the composition of their blends, they come from France but also from other countries of the world such as Belgium, England or Germany... Because the varieties of ORGANIC hops are rarer than malt ORGANIC, which makes an exclusively French supply difficult.

So organic and nothing but organic for this iconic range which is taking a growing place on the Haut-Savoyard market first and whose reputation and flavors are gradually invading the entire Rhône-Alpes region.

Enough to have to adjust its production chain and its storage capacities in their factory in Alby-sur-Chéran. With 2 vats of 50 hectoliters, 13 vats of 70 hectoliters and 4 vats of 110 hectoliters, the Savoyard Brewers have taken the lead to meet the demand of a market thirsty for their beers which combines good and organic with style and this just bitterness that signs their beautiful traditional and artisanal beers.

NON RANGE:
For centuries, beer has stirred passions and been the subject of great upheavals. In the heart of the Abbeys, the monks carry out multiple experiments and work ardently to make this ancestral drink.

They contribute to its recognition and justify its regular consumption with the adage “liquida non frangunt jeunum*”.

For them, every moment is therefore an opportunity to enjoy this precious beverage: “Simple” beers, light; the “Doubles” and finally the “Triples” reserved for the greatest occasions.

More ignored, the Nuns, too, produce beers of very high quality and are at the origin of major discoveries.

In the 12th century, Hildegard of Bingen thus discovered the virtues of hops and in particular its preserving power, its tasty bitterness and its unique aromas. Quickly, thanks to Hildegarde's discoveries, hops replaced simple gruit and gave beer its boom. This scholar is also ahead of the monks by recording the first Beer recipes in Books.

We owe him these priceless discoveries from which the Monks, themselves, are largely inspired.

La NONNE pays homage to Hildegarde and those forgotten nuns who were able to create beer as we know it today. It draws its roots from their genius and reconnects with a Brewing Know-How too long attributed to the Monks alone.
