PINEAU DES CHARENTES, BOURGOIN PINEAU, OXIDATIVE AGING 75CL 17%
See the wholesale price
Made from a mutage of Ugni Blanc grape juice (75%) and cognac at 62.5% vol (25%), this Pineau des Charentes was aged in barrels for 38 years. The non-topping of the barrel caused the appearance of an aromatic note usually specific to sailing wines: sotolon. A lactone that surprises with its aromas of rancio. Let yourself be surprised by this volatile oscillating between grilled fenugreek and rancid walnuts. A unique bottling in the appellation area.
