The preservation of taste and aromas is ensured by packaging in an inert protective atmosphere. 250 gram pack.​ FRUITY AND AROMATIC Ethiopia is the country of origin of coffee and the only one in the world where plants are found in the wild. At an altitude of around 1800 meters, arabica coffee grows spontaneously here, in the shade of tall trees. For millennia, each family has been picking cherries, drying them in the sun on suspended beds, toasting them, crushing them in a mortar and offering coffee to guests following an atavistic ceremony, a solemn rite, with a strong symbolism of respect and hospitality. Producers harvest the ripe fruit, selecting the reddest cherries. The result in the cup is a coffee with a medium body and a pleasant vanilla aftertaste.
