Shichimi Togarashi is a Japanese spice blend that translates as "seven-spice chili". As the name suggests, it traditionally consists of 7 spices, including chili, of course, but also nori seaweed, sansho pepper and citrus peel. Shichimi Togarashi is often served as a table spice with ramen soups and kushiyaki, grilled skewers. But it also goes well with all other grilled or roasted meat dishes or vegetables.
