1er cru of Languedoc, La Livinière is the first communal appellation of Languedoc created in 1999. La Livinière comes from the Occitan word “Lavineira” attested in 1069 which means place planted with vines. It is an exceptional territory where we produce a powerful and elegant wine with lots of freshness. Our Château Cesseras La Livinière 2011 obtained the holy grail in 2014 by winning the Decanter International Trophy. Our best Syrahs in velvet pants! Vintage 2022 - Beautiful deep garnet color with ruby highlights. The nose is rich, with notes of black olives, red fruits, and violet enhanced with spicy and praline characters. The palate reveals a fluid texture, a balance of finesse and subtlety supported by well-blended wood notes. Freshness is present in this vintage with an expressive finish. Food & wine pairings – A beautiful piece of meat to amaze your guests, also suitable for spicy cuisines (spices, Mediterranean aromatics). For the most patient to keep in the cellar for up to 12 years. Carafe and serve at 16-17°C. AOP Cru LA LIVINIÈRE / 14% ALC. by Vol. / Blend of Syrah 70%, Mourvèdre 10%, Carignan 10%, Grenache 10% / Partially aged in barrels for 1 year
