AOP Côtes du Rhône villages Plan de Dieu, red, 2022

At the foot of the Dentelles de Montmirail, the terroir of Plan De Dieu spreads over a bed of Pliocene clay covered with rolled pebbles, offering the vines rich and concentrated juices. The vineyard, which is on average 30 years old, has a particularly low yield here. For this wine with a dark red color, we feel stewed cherries on the nose, notes of garrigue and thyme. A frank mouth, on the fruit with present tannins and a beautiful structure.
