Red wine from Haut-Médoc, L'Iris de Laride, Old Vines - Vintage 2017

Domaines Fabre has been a family property for 3 generations. The harvest of the oldest vines on the property produces a full-bodied wine with a dense and fleshy texture. The nose is racy, powerful with notes of black fruits and wood. After aeration, the Vieilles Vignes cuvée reveals complex aromas combining candied fruits with vanilla, toasted and woody notes. Food/wine pairings: Grilled beef, meats in sauce and/or strong cheeses.
