Bisontine organic red beer 33 cl - 5%

5% alc. Rousse beer is characterized by its color which has red and copper highlights. It is brewed with lightly toasted malts such as Munich or Carafa. Very popular in North America, these beers have their origins in Celtic countries and particularly Ireland. The most famous Rousse beer comes from the brewery founded by John Smithwick in 1710 on the site of an abbey where monks had been brewing beer since the 14th century. This beer has a beautiful foam which contrasts perfectly with its red color. On the nose and tasting, Rousse Bisontine develops light touches of coffee and caramel. The acidity is low and accentuates the roundness in the mouth. Subtle aromas supported by a slightly more powerful bitterness develop upon tasting. Tasting temperature: 8 - 10°C Dishes : Harmony: charcuterie, stew cooked à la Rousse, vegetable terrine with fig Contrast: cucumber salad with fromage blanc, beetroot mousse Desserts: Harmony: coffee mousse, dates, figs Contrast: caramel ice cream, Catalan crème brulée Color: coppery red Bitterness: slight on the finish Besançon water, Barley malt (Pilsen type) *, Barley malt (Munich type) *, Sour barley malt *, Roasted barley malt *, Hops *, Yeast. * From organic farming
