La Dame de Montmirail made from viognier presents an exceptional aromatic richness. The high altitude terroir gives a beautiful freshness to this supple and creamy wine thanks to aging in barrels. The palette evokes citrus zest, buttery and vanilla notes, and early summer fig. TERROIR This Côtes du Rhône BLANC is harvested manually in a vineyard located 500 meters above sea level to the east of Dentelles de Montmirail, in the commune of Suzette. VARIETY 100% Viognier WINEMAKING - AGING Direct pressing of the bunches, then cold settling followed by fermentation at low temperature (15°C) to preserve all the aromas. Aging in vats and new barrels. TASTING - KEEPING Golden yellow color, golden highlights. It is first of all the expression of its very limestone terroir: the palette evokes citrus zest, buttery and vanilla notes, early summer fig, and the essence of thyme. Viognier will go wonderfully with your aperitifs, with some shellfish, or an asparagus risotto. The serving temperature is between 8° and 10°C.
