Grain de Méliss is above all two passionate about cooking and nature who arrived in 2016 in Hédé-Bazouges (Brittany, north of Rennes) to cultivate aromatic plants. One goal: to offer you the opportunity to rediscover the authentic taste of plants in your cups and on your plates with a range of tasty, original and colorful infusions and condiments.
We are above all Producers: More than 40 varied plant species are cultivated by us on a one-hectare plot, all organically! And organic farming, for us, is just a pretty label... This of course implies no chemical treatment of our plantations, but it is also a real philosophy: replanting hedgerows, preserving biodiversity, late mowing, preserving water resources, etc.
We are also Artisans and our artisanal work is complete: drying, as well as all the stages of processing the plants after harvest until packaging are carried out in our workshop 200m from the plantations! This guarantees the high aromatic quality of our recipes because the plants are transformed immediately after harvest :-)
