The liqueur presented here is made from green walnuts that macerate in alcohol for two months. A recipe with character The walnut base is refined with typical herbs such as chamomile, oregano, and cinnamon. Anise adds additional aromatic depth. The maceration is controlled, after which the liqueur matures for three months in wooden barrels. This creates a product with a dark color and dense texture. Uses Ratafia de l’Avia is perfect as a digestif or with dessert. It is served pure or on ice – for example in combination with desserts such as Crema Catalana, pastries or ice cream.
